Lauren Leigh

Lauren Leigh is a composer and singer/songwriter who has developed a successful career as a professional piano tuner and also teaches piano. Over the last 30 years she has worked in London, York, The Midlands, the USA and South Africa but is now based in East Sussex.

She has written several projects and had the absolute joy of seeing her composition 'Motto' performed by The Guildhall Orchestra at York Barbican on the year of her 50th birthday.  It was something she had dreamed of for years and was so blessed to see that dream become a reality.

As well as composing and selling music for easy listening, Lauren now has music going worldwide through production libraries for film & TV, a witness to the fact that it is never too late to learn or to try things that you are fearful of.

Lauren loves to improvise on the piano, and vocally, creating songs and symphonies in worship to God. Out of some special times of spontaneous worship with Julie & Nigel, recorded for National Heart of Worship, came the desire to record some of the songs that were being inspired in these sessions.
